Gentofte Jazzklub was founded in March 2019. The purpose is to arrange jazz concerts in Gentofte Kommune for people living in Gentofte but also people who are interested in jazz. The organization is a non-profit organization which means that all profits must be spent on music. The board consists ofvolunteers as well as of people helping to arrange the concerts.
We expect to arrange at least 10-12 live jazz concerts a year with Danish and international artists of good standard. We prefer high quality music. So far we use Byens Hus in Hellerup for our concerts. You can buy different kinds of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The Concerts last for approximately 2 hours including breaks. All concerts will be announced on this web site or facebook.com/gentoftejazz. Normal entrance fee will be app. DKK 100 for members and DKK 150 for guests.
